During the 4 months of lockdown in the UK due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I set my mind to finding a way to curate all of the images and words which I created throughout my time in the Himalayas. I have always turned to books as sources of inspiration. In the age of digital media and the never ending ‘instagram scroll’, there is something truly wonderful about leafing through tactile pages of someone’s work, laid out in an order which has been painstakingly revised in order to all the story in a way that reflects the artists true intentions - and of course, recording ones walls with colourful tales of adventure and storytelling ready for the picking.
The opportunity came from Saal Digital to create such a book for myself and I jumped at the chance to produce a permanent record of my 3 month trip through the Himalayas.
